They process texts and data, handle taxation and insurance matters, issue invoices and monitor payments, not to mention offering invaluable support in purchasing and sales.
You will be trained as an office administrator at our headquarters in the heart of Hamburg, where you will get to know our international company through placements in different departments.
The basic tasks of a wholesaler and export merchant are buying and selling goods for industrial firms, intermediaries and retailers. They make sure the customers get their goods on schedule and have an overview of the goods, market, financing, service and marketing.
In the “wholesale” specialty, enterprise resource planning and warehousing and logistics play a central role. You can become a wholesaler and export merchant in this skill in one of our subsidiaries Mabanaft and OIL! Tankstellen. more

Harbor logistics specialists are in charge of the turnover of goods and merchandise at the harbor. They control the cargo, plan further transport, take care of the correct storage of goods and prepare shipping documents. You are trained as a harbor logistics specialist at our Oiltanking terminal at Hamburg Harbor / Blumensand. Here you learn all you need to know about the distribution of mineral oil products – by barge, tank wagon or fuel tank truck – and about how to deal with “liquid substances” correctly. In this profession, your day-to-day work is all about movement and variety. more
As an apprentice chef, you will learn all about group catering. You will learn to prepare food taking nutritional, economic, and ecological aspects into account, and help to offer our guests sophisticated cuisine. more
During your apprenticeship to become an IT officer, you will be assigned to various departments and/or business areas within our Group. Your tasks will include needs assessment, as well as planning and implementing IT systems. You will get to know the fields of infrastructure, application management and development. more
