Changes to the Executive Board at Marquard & Bahls

The Executive Board at Marquard & Bahls AG consists of three members. Anke Schouten, who was responsible for organisational development, has left the Board. There is no plan to fill the position.

Marquard & Bahls has seen strong growth in the last few years during which it has undergone a number of extensive change processes which have now been put in place and implemented as far as possible. The Supervisory Board has therefore decided to reduce the number of Executive Board members from four to three. As of November 2017, the board consists of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Christian Flach, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Dr Claus-Georg Nette, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Julio Tellechea. At his own request, Claus-Georg Nette will step down from his role as CFO at Marquard & Bahls AG in May 2018 to take retirement. From 01 January 2018 Dr Lorenz Zwingmann will take over the role of CFO as his successor.

Anke Schouten, who led the Human Resources department from June 2012 to January 2016, and took the role of Chief Change Officer on the Executive Board in February 2016, has left the company. During her time at Marquard & Bahls, Anke Schouten provided important impetus for HR management and various change processes. The company would like to express its heartfelt thanks for her dedication in this regard and wishes her all the best for the future.
